Krabi Thai Cookery School

Thise one-day cooking course introduces our students to the recipie ingredients, the typical Thai vegetables and fruits and the preparation of spicy Thai salads and dishes of classical Thai cuisine, both in theory and practice.

One of the secrets of Thai cooking is the use of spices. During your class you will be given a list of typical ingredients that includes those spices used in most Thai recipes. Ingredients will be described for you, including its Thai name. Hopefully all ingredients are available at your local market.

Nothing captures the imagination or the taste buds quite like Thai chilies. Thai cooks capitalize on the chili's power in a kind of culinary ultimate force, it gets additional supplies of heat from garlic, ginger, vinegar and peppercorns. The fire is actually found in the membrane of the chilies in a substance called capsaicin, which stimulates nerve endings and fools your brain into thinking you are in pain.

After selecting the dishes we will help you to prepare all the necessary ingredients. Every student is furnished will all needed utensils, wok and stove.

Cook Book Recipe and Instruction (English )
Preparation of various plates, pastes and sauces extensively used in Thai cuisine such as green curry, red curry and masaman curry.
Introduction to typical Thai Vegetables and Fruits and preparation of Spicy Thai Salads.
